Little Fish

Michael John LaChiusa, composer-lyricist of Broadway musicals such as The Wild Party and Marie Christine, sets this new musical, Little Fish, in New York City "over the course of the present year."

Little Fish opened at Off-Broadway's Second Stage. The show, based on the stories of writer Deborah Eisenberg, centered around a neurotic New Yorker who reflects on her attempts to quit smoking, exercise regularly, and find the man of her dreams in the big city.

The ensemble cast included Jennifer Laura Thompson (Urinetown), Lea DeLaria (The Rocky Horror Show), Marcy Harriell (Rent), Hugh Panaro (The Phantom of the Opera), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (On the Town), Celia Keenan-Bolger (Summer of '42), Ken Marks (Mamma Mia!), and Eric Jordan Young (Seussical).
